Ik wou zoo iets er mee zeggen als Mais reste le vide du coeur Que rien ne remplira zooals in het boek van Michelet staat_ I wanted to say something like But the heart’s emptiness remains That nothing will make full again as it says in Michelet’s book.
Ik heb dezen winter ontmoet eene zwangere vrouw/ verlaten door den man wiens kind zij in t’lijf droeg. This winter I met a pregnant woman, abandoned by the man whose child she was carrying.
Ik heb die vrouw genomen voor model en met haar gewerkt den heelen winter_ I took that woman as a model and worked with her the whole winter.
